04.14 - Presentations

At the beginning of class today, we spent some time talking about our schedule for presentations. Instead of having presentations today, we decided to give everyone time to finish putting their presentations together. Tomorrow, we will do some activities to warm up to presentations and then have the actual presentations on Wednesday.

Next, I handed out set 14 roots and prefixes sheets (see below for extra copies). I also handed out grade report sheets that account for paper sections that were assessed over the weekend.

Everyone then had the rest of the period to work on the following:

Make revisions to paper sections that were assessed over the weekend.
Work on finishing any incomplete paper sections.
Complete the front side of the set 14 roots and prefixes sheet.

During this time, I met individually with people to respond to questions about papers, paper revisions, and presentations.

Complete the written sections and presentation for your public figure project.
We will have the presentations done in class on Wednesday.
