What is something that you feel everyone should understand or appreciate about your public figure?
Then, I introduced and explained the activity "The Good Show." We did two rounds of this activity (see below). Groups had 5-8 minutes to prepare their skit and then everyone performed their skit in front of the class.

Following these activities we brainstormed a list of elements that made these skits successful.

No interruptions
With these in mind, everyone used their response to today's prompt regarding what they feel others should appreciate about their public figure.

At the end of class, everyone shared out how well they felt they were able to represent their public figure in their skit. We will have our public figure presentations tomorrow in class.
Homework:
Complete the written sections and presentation for your public figure project.
We will have the presentations done in class tomorrow.
